Single A Division – Coach Pitch (Ages 6 & Under)

Key Features:

• Coach-Pitched Games: Coaches pitch to their own team to encourage hitting success and build confidence.
• Focus on Fundamentals: Emphasis on basic skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, base running, and understanding game rules.
• Modified Rules: Simplified rules to ensure safety and maximize participation. Outs and scores may be tracked loosely or not at all, depending on league preferences.
• Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Players learn the value of teamwork, respect, and fair play.
• Game Format: Typically, 3–4 innings per game, with all players rotating through fielding positions and batting order.
• Equipment: Players use safety-approved bats and helmets. Soft safety balls may be used to reduce injury risk.

Eligibility:

• Players must be league age 6 or under.
• Some leagues may allow advanced 5-year-olds who have completed a season of Tee Ball.

AA Division – Player Pitch (Ages 8 & Under)

AAA Division – Player Pitch (Ages 10 & Under)

• Full Player Pitch: Players pitch to opposing batters with full enforcement of pitch count rules and mound mechanics.

• Advanced Fundamentals: Continued development of hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running, with added focus on strategy, situational awareness, and teamwork.
• Stealing & Leading: Limited base stealing is introduced, depending on league rules, helping players learn timing and defensive positioning.
